Data Deletion
You can delete your VolleyForge account and the personal data tied to it at any time. This page explains how, including what happens to data from a Facebook or other social sign-in.
Last updated August 2026
VolleyForge (“VolleyForge,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) lets you remove your account and the personal data associated with it. This includes data we received when you signed in with a third party such as Facebook. For the full picture of what we collect and why, see our Privacy Policy.
Manage your data in your account
While you are signed in, you can access, update, or remove your profile information at any time from your account settings. This is the fastest way to correct or remove specific details without deleting your whole account.
Request full account & data deletion
To delete your entire VolleyForge account and the personal data associated with it, email [email protected] from the email address on your account, with the subject line “Data deletion request.” So we can verify and act on your request, please include:
- the email address on your VolleyForge account;
- if you signed in with Facebook, Google, or Apple, which one you used;
- a short note confirming you want your account and personal data deleted.
You can also send the same request through our Contact page.
What we delete
When we process your request, we delete or anonymize the personal data associated with your account, including your profile details and any data we received from a linked Facebook, Google, or Apple sign-in. We aim to complete deletion within 30 days of verifying your request. Some information may be retained for a limited time where the law requires it, to resolve disputes, or to enforce our agreements — for example, records needed for security or accounting. Content that is part of a shared record, such as historical match scores or standings on a public league page, may be retained in anonymized form so those results stay accurate.
Disconnecting Facebook
If you signed in with Facebook and only want to remove VolleyForge’s access to your Facebook data — without deleting your VolleyForge account — you can do that from Facebook: open Settings & Privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites, find VolleyForge, and remove it. Removing the connection there stops future access but does not delete an existing VolleyForge account; to delete the account itself, use the request steps above.
