These are purpose-built pickleball facilities — climate-controlled, open year-round, with leagues, clinics, and open play:

Community centers: the budget-friendly option
Most KC-area cities run indoor pickleball on their community-center gym courts — usually the cheapest way to play indoors, often just a small daily drop-in fee. Availability shifts around other programming, so check the current schedule with each center:
- Overland Park: Matt Ross, Tomahawk Ridge, and Blue Valley Rec at Hilltop.
- JoCo: Shawnee Civic Centre, Lenexa Rec Center, Olathe Community Center, Merriam, and Sylvester Powell Jr. (Mission).
- Missouri side: KC North, Westport-Roanoke, Tony Aguirre, Garrison, and Gladstone.

If you want to play indoors on a budget, the community centers are hard to beat — just call ahead for the open-play schedule.
